PROGRAM NOTES
While walking through the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I was inspired by the Impressionist paintings that surrounded me. I have synesthesia, which means that I strongly associate colors with music. I took the colors that I saw in the paintings and used them to create a new picture with sound. What colors do you envision as you hear this piece?
