PROGRAM NOTES
Dactyloidae is the family name for anoles, a species of lizards that look like miniature iguanas. While walking through Rice Village, I often come across these small brown and green reptiles, crawling on the ground or on metal fences. I enjoy observing how they move, scurry across the sidewalk when I walk by, and how they inflate their orange chins. They can also change colors to camouflage, blending within their surroundings. How fascinating!
